Manuel Urech Lopez (Zaragoza, 1904-Madrid, 1985) is one of Madrid's leading photojournalists. His approach to photography comes from the father, who was always his great mentor and example. After a brief period dedicated to documentary filmmaking, joins ABC newspaper in 1935 and did not drop the camera again. In 1941 he was hired by the newspaper Madrid, where he works as a photographer until its closure in 1971. Later, working with the Semana magazine and retires at the news agency Efe, in January 1975, after 50 years of occupation.
